Inventor of Innovative Surgical Techniques: He invented a new technique for hydrocoele surgery, “Window Operation for Hydrocoele,” which was published in the prestigious Campbell’s Urology textbook. He is also the inventor of the operative technique for inguinal hernia, “NRCH(Nigam’s Reverse Curtain Hernioplasty).”

Education and Fellowship: Dr. Nigam completed his MBBS and MS from G.S.V.M Medical College, Kanpur, in 1970 and 1974, respectively. He also holds a fellowship from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons.
