He has a broad range of clinical interests, including open and laparoscopic surgery, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repairs, and intestinal malignancy.
He also has vast experience in various Thoracic surgeries like Video Assisted Thoracic Surgeries, Tubercular diseases of Lung, Pleura and Lymph nodes, Lung Cancer, Rigid Bronchoscopy and Thoracic Trauma.
He is proficient in complex hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries, complex liver resections for liver and bile duct tumours, minimal access surgeries, abdominal vascular surgeries, Whipple surgery, colorectal surgeries, surgeries for ulcerative colitis, etc.
Dr. Saxena completed his MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, MS (General Surgery) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and DNB.
He also completed MNAMS (General Surgery) and MRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (UK).
He is a Fellow of Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and a Fellow of the College of Laparoscopic Surgeons (FCLS).
