Dr. Rahul S Kanaka is a Surgical Oncologist with 11+ years of experience in the field.
He graduated from a reputed college in Gulbarga and did his master's degree in general surgery at the prestigious Karnataka Medical College Institute in Hubli.
He further pursued his MCh in surgical oncology from Adyar cancer institute, Chennai, and then completed his Robotic surgery training in Hyderabad and was a Robotic Scholar for the year 2016.
He is also trained in flap reconstruction and vascular surgery from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin.
He has been felicitated by the Medical Council of India and by the Karnataka Chapter Association of Surgeon of India.
He has vast experience in performing meticulous oncological resections like Total peritonectomy with HIPEC, limb-sparing surgeries, Whipple’s procedure, Radical Esophagectomy, Radical Gastrectomy, Total Laryngectomy, Craniofacial Resections, Radical Mastectomy, Pelvic Exenterations, Abdomino-Perineal Resections, Lung Resections, etc.
Dr. Rahul has been invited as a faculty speaker in various conferences and has published more than 20 research papers for national and international journals.
