She had performed over 4750 deliveries, including instrumental and cesarean deliveries. 
She has also performed over 1200 varieties of gynecological procedures in the last 19 years and over 500 endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries in gynecology.
She completed her MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada and PG Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Osmania Medical College/Govt. Maternity Hospital, Nayapul, and Hyderabad. 
Dr. Veerla further pursued a Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery Course at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France, and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (AMASI).
She is fluent in Telugu and English.
