He specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgeries for the pancreas, biliary tree, and GI tract.
He has performed over 4000 liver-related surgeries, including 2500+ liver transplants and around 600+ complex liver resections (including highly complex isolated caudate, central, and segmental liver resections).
Dr. Chorasiya has done substantial work in minimally invasive liver surgery, especially for the living donor with strong experience in laparoscopic donor hepatectomies.
After completing his MBBS from Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa, he achieved MS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, MP, and a Research Fellowship in Liver Transplant & GI Surgery from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.
He has contributed numerous international publications in prestigious transplant journals and presentations at various national and international transplant forums, especially on different liver transplant and laparoscopic donor techniques.
