After completing his MBBS degree from Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur, in 1999, he completed his MD (Internal Medicine) from PGIMER Institute, Chandigarh.
He pioneered being the first Cardiologist in Punjab (excluding Tricity) to implant a 3T MRI Pacemaker, the first one to use Catheter-directed pharmacomechanical treatment for Pulmonary embolism, the first one to use Catheter-directed thrombolysis (CDT) for acute limb ischemia, and first one to use intra-arterial thrombolysis for acute stroke patients in the region.
He was awarded a fellowship by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
He authored several publications in reputed International Journals and has presented quality work at various national and international platforms of the highest standards.
