He has completed his MBBS & MS –Orthopaedic from the prestigious Manipal University. He has undergone training in 'Foot and Ankle Surgery' at Inje University in South Korea. He has done Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at O.A.S.I Bioresearch Foundation, Milan, Italy.
His recently Computer-aided surgery to restore mobility to a 115-kg woman was well acknowledged by news media in India.
He has also been an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, India.
