He has performed more than 500 renal transplants at ILBS and did 4 back-to-back transplants in 36 hours.
He has many firsts such as he retrieved both the kidneys from 16-month old brain-dead donor and transplanted in adult which is the “first” and only case of its kind in India,
Dr. Jain has retrieved both the kidneys from a non-heart beating donor (NHBD) and successfully transplanted in two patients which is first NHBD in Delhi / NCR.
He is a first Indian to have been awarded the scholarship by European Association of Urology (EUSP).
He has an excellent academic record with various awards. The most prestigious being Prof CKP Menon Best Paper Award for 2010 and European Association Urology Scholarship to visit Spain for training in deceased donor renal transplant.
He is a member of American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, Urological Society of India, Delhi Urological Society, Indian Society of Organ Transplantation, American Society of Transplant and Société Internationale d′Urologie.
