After completing his MBBS from Mangalore University Karnataka in 1996 and did Diploma in Orthopedics in 1999 from Kasturba Medical College.
He received Gold Medal for “Standing first in India in the Diplomate of the National Board Exam’ in Orthopedics in 2001.
Dr. Thomas also received Professor M.V. Daniel Gold Medal for Exemplary Commitment to Patient Care in 2000.
In addition to this, he got Dr. Premananda Nayak Award for the ‘Best Outgoing Student from MAHE University 1998.
He also went on to do DNB in New Delhi in the year 2001.
Currently, he is a member of ASSI and Medical Council of India.
Dr. Thomas has published several papers and chapters on Spinal Surgery.
