About Doctor

Dr. Sumit Talwar is a General Surgeon with an overall experience of nearly 30 years.
He holds an expertise in laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery, mini gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, Gastro-intestinal cancer surgery and many others.
He is a pioneer in bariatric surgery and metabolic surgery in New Delhi.
Dr. Sumit is also a pioneer in Thoracoscopic surgery, lung surgery, and esophageal surgery.
He has performed more than hundreds of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgeries (SILS) in Delhi NCR in the past five years.
He has developed a new technique of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (Scarless Surgery) for gall-bladder, appendix, hernia etc.
After completing MBBS in 1994, Dr. Sumit went on to do MS in General Surgery in 1999.
Currently, he is a member of Medical Council of India, and Delhi Medical Council.
