Dr. Sanjay Nagral is an extensively trained Gastrointestinal Surgeon with 40 years of rich experience in gastroscopy, liver transplant, hepatitis B treatment, gastroenteritis treatment, steatosis,gastrointestinal endoscopy and mucosal resection.
Dr. Nagral was involved in the first successful liver transplant at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai which is currently the most extensive liver transplant program in Western India.
He completed his MBBS in 1984 and MS in 1988 from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai.
He has published around 90 articles in indexed International and National Journals on topics related to hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, liver transplantation, and medical ethics.
He is the founding member of the Forum for Medical Ethics and the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics. Joint Secretary, Zonal Transplant Co-ordination Committee, Mumbai.
