Her educational journey started with MBBS and Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the University of Osmania, in 1981 and 1985, respectively.
Dr. Achtani further achieved an MD (General Medicine) from Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences in 1991 and a DM (Neurology) from Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, in 1995.
She is a member of the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Delhi Medical Council, the Indian Academy of Neurology and the Indian Stroke Association.
