Dr. Rakesh Jalali is an internationally recognized Radiation Oncologist with an extensive experience of 27 years.
He won the Top Radiation Oncologist Award for 3 consecutive years from 2014 to 2017.
He established the TMH Neuro-Oncology group, which is reputed as the best such unit in India and is widely known around the world.
He is the recipient of the Oncologist Award by Medscape in 2014.
Dr. Rakesh Jalali did his MBBS from Government Medical College, Jammu (University of Jammu, India) in 1990.
After that, he did MD in Radiation and Oncology in 1994 from the (PGIMER), Chandigarh, where he was awarded “Merit of First Order.”
He was also a Senior Researcher at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust Academic Unit, London.
He specializes in Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy and solid cancers, Brachytherapy Proton therapy, and Stereotactic radiosurgery.
He has contributed to more than 300 peer-reviewed publications at international level.
He has research publications that include high-impact journals such as the Lancet, JAMA Oncology, Lancet Oncology, and JCO.
He has multiple memberships in committees like Tata Memorial Hospital IRB, the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology & Oncology (ASTRO), the Association Of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), the Society of Neuro-oncology (USA), and many more.
