In addition, he developed a Portable dialysis Machine (MAKE-D) for kidney patients in the world who require dialysis many times a week. He has developed an abdominal Pressure Measurement Scale, useful for Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis Patients (type of dialysis).
Dr. Gupta was the Honorary Nephrologists to the Governor of Chhattisgarh State.
He is also an accomplished academician who guided Postgraduate & Technologist students for their thesis and projects; he also served as an examiner for university examinations.
He had presented more than 160 papers research papers and abstracts on Kidney Diseases in Tribal populations at well-known National and International Conferences.
Dr. Gupta also has a certificate in Paediatric Nephrology.
He did several Fellowships under various Societies abroad.
