Dr. Pradeep Sharma is one of the most reputed Pediatric Ophthalmologists and Neuro-Ophthalmologists in New Delhi.
He holds more than 40 years of rich experience in his field.
He completed his MBBS in 1979 and MD in Ophthalmology in 1982 from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
He become a Member National Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS), India, in 1995 and Fellow National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), India, in 2007.
He is an active member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, International Strabismological Association, All India Ophthalmological Society, Strabismological Society of India, National Society for Prevention of Blindness, India, and Delhi Ophthalmic Society.
He is also the Vice President of the Ophthalmic Research Association, RPC, AIIMS since 2012 and Chairman of the FAICO Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Section since 2011-till date.
He is the first Asian to be invited to deliver Knapp Memorial Lecture by AAPOS, Vancouver Canada.
He has over 200 scientific articles in National and International journals.
He is a section editor in Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology since 2008-till date.
