Dr. Pankaj N. Maheshwari is a renowned Urologist, practicing for more than 23 years of experience.
He holds rich experience in upper tract endourology, Lithotripsy, and Laser surgeries.
He pioneered the use of the Holmium laser in urology in India. 
He started performing holmium laser enucleation of the prostate for the management of Benign Enlargement of the Prostate in late 1998.
Dr. Maheshwari is a pioneer in the use of Holmium laser in urology in India.
A few unusual surgical procedures were done for the first time in India by Dr. Maheshwari, including Laparoscopy-assisted PCNL for large calculi in the pelvic kidney (3 cases) and Laparoscopic repair of spontaneous bladder perforation.
Dr. Maheshwari has devised a new technique for laparoscopic placement of CAPD catheters. This significantly reduces the complications of CAPD catheters. 
He was one of the initial persons to start therapeutic flexible ureteroscopy in India, which started in 1999. 
He achieved his MBBS in 1990 and MS in 1992 from GMC Nagpur and MCH Urology from the Grant Medical College, Mumbai in 1995 with eminent teachers like Dr. Percy Chibber & Dr. Madhav Kamat.
Dr. Maheshwari is the recipient of the Societe Internationale Urology Traveling Fellowship for 1999- 2000, which he utilized for training in Holmium laser in Urology in New Zealand and in New York.
He has 50 national and international publications, of which eight are quoted in Campbell's textbook of Urology.
