He also did an M.Ch in Cardiothoracic vascular surgery from All India Institute of Medical Science in 1995.
He completed Post Graduate Fellowship from Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia, in 2003 and did an Executive program in Business Management from IIM Calcutta, in 2015.
He is an active member of the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons and the Indian Association of Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons.
His keen interest in research resulted in the publication of numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals.
