After completing her MBBS from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak in 2001, she pursued MS in General Surgery from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur, in 2005, and MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology & G.I. Surgery from G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi, in 2009. 
She is an active member of the Surgeons Society of Jaipur, Rajasthan Association of Minimal Access Surgeons, Indian Medical Association, Association of Medical Women of India, and International Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association.
