Dr. KS Nayak is a prominent Nephrologist with 39+ years of experience.
He did India's first simultaneous heart and kidney transplantation (SHK) and 1st Cadaver Kidney Transplantation in the State of Andhra Pradesh in 1996.
Dr. Nayak was awarded the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' by the (P.D.)Society of India and the 'Guru Dronacharya Award' by the AVATAR Foundation.
He specializes in treatment of Kidney Failure, T.B. in Kidney, and Liver Transplant.
He has done over 1500 liver and cadaveric renal transplants on patients from all over the country.
Dr. Nayak did an MBBS in 1982 and an MD in 1985 from Kasturba Medical College.
Later, in 1989, he earned a DNB from the National Board of Nephrology.
He is a member of the Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India (PDSI), the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), and the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN).
