After that, he did FICS from International College of Surgeons, Chicago, USA, in 1983.
Dr. Turel is a life member of Neurological Society of India (NSI), Indian Society for Study of Pain (ISSP), and member of Epilepsy Association of India, Indian Medical Association (IMA), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI), Middle East Neurological Society, International Skull Base Society, Europa India Foundation and Neuro-Otological and Equilibriometric (NES) Society of India.
