Dr. Jitendra Mohan Hans is an ENT Surgeon and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 40 years of experience.
Padamshree Awardee Prof. (Dr.) Jitendra Mohan Hans has done pioneering work in cochlear implant surgery.
His expertise lies in cochlear implant surgery, brain-stem implantation, tympanoplasty, and myringoplasty.
He has performed over 3000 successful cochlear implant surgeries.
His educational qualifications include MBBS, DLO, and MS (Oto-Rhino-Lary).
Dr. Hans is a visiting cochlear implant surgeon to the states of Chhattisgarh, Andhra-Pradesh, Madhya-Pradesh, PGI Chandigarh and many other centers in the country to perform rare & difficult CI surgeries for the hearing handicap.
He is an advisor to UPSC and WHO and works closely with many national and international institutes to perform and educate people about CI surgeries.
He is the founder member of the Cochlear Implant Group of India and a government member of the Ali Yajur Jung National Institute for Deafness, Mumbai.
Dr. Hans has been appointed as a member of the National Program on Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD).
He is also the government-appointed Executive Member of the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
