He completed MBBS from Terna Medical College, Mumbai and MS in general surgery from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai.
He did his fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from Stanford School of Medicine, California in 2015, from Saifee Hospital, Mumbai in 2018 and Digestive Health Institute by Dr. Muffi in 2019.
He is a member of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeon (SAGES), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (IAGES) and Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI).
