He completed his MBBS with 10 gold medals.
He is a member of the Urology Society Of India.
He was awarded Dr. Yammanuru Aruna Ramulu Prize in Pharmacology in 1977 and Dr. D.Givinda Reddy PRIZE in Pathology in 1978.
