He completed MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, MS from Delhi University, M.Ch from Dr MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu and Da Vinci (Robotic surgery) Training from Atlanta, USA.
He has 89 publications in peer-reviewed international and national journals.
He is a founder member of the Lung Cancer Consortium Asia, Esophageal Cancer Consortium, Gastric Advisory Action Forum of Asia-Pacific, ICON (Indian Co-operative Oncology Network), and ICMR Task Force on “Review of Guidelines for Management of Lung Cancer”.
