He completed his MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College and DCH from Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, in 2003.
In the UK, he underwent structured training in Pediatrics and completed MRCPCH.
Dr. Chandra Shekhar received his Pediatric intensive care training from the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow, and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool , UK. 
As part of his intensive care training, he worked in anesthesia and Pediatric respiratory medicine.
He is fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and English.
