Dr. Balaji Subramanian is a Radiation Oncologist of great repute with experience of over 13 years.
He is highly skilled in High Precision Radiotherapy and is also involved in Preventive Oncology.
He takes part in workshops and conferences and has presented papers in them.
He has the membership of several prestigious associations such as Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), since 2010, Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Tamil Nadu State Chapter since 2006, National Academy of Medical Sciences, European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
Besides, he engages himself in research and has published numerous papers in National and International Journals.
After graduating with MBBS, from Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur, in 2004, he pursued DMRT in Barnard Institute of Radiology and Oncology, under Madras Medical College, Chennai (2005-2007). Later he did DNB, in Radiotherapy from Apollo Speciality Hospital, Chennai under National Board Examination in December 2010. He also undertook training in High Precision Radiotherapy- 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT (Cyber Knife Frame less and Frame based), Brachytherapy for carcinoma of Prostate, Cancer Cervix, Esophagus and Berlin RA/IMRT Training from Chartie Hospital Berlin in 2014.
