Additionally, he undertook a Fellowship in Haematology Research at the National Institutes of Health, USA, further advancing his expertise in the field.
He won the Chief of Army Staff Commendation in 2010, 2012, and 2013 and the Sardar Patel National Award for Medical Sciences in 2014.
Dr. Ajay is a respected member of the International Fellow American Society of Haematology, the Indian Society of Haematology And Transfusion Medicine, and the Asia Pacific BMT Society.
He is also the President of the Delhi Society of Haematology and Delhi Haematology Group.
